ABOUT

Liza Glesener has been working as a freelance biologist and science writer since early 2009, after leaving a post as nature protection consultant. She is licensed by the Luxembourg Ministry of Environment (loi du 21 avril 1993 pour l’accomplissement de tâches techniques d’étude et de vérification dans le domaine de l’environnement) to carry out the following works in the biological domain:

Studies of the natural environment
Inventories and monitoring of the indigenous flora and fauna
Applied scientific research
Development of educational brochures

PAST AND PRESENT PROJECTS

Since graduating in 2006, Liza has taken part in a variety of projects, both as a volunteer and on a professional basis, in Luxembourg and abroad. These include a hedgehog removal programme, bird ringing, amphibian and small mammal surveys, wildcat telemetry, electric fishing, habitat and plant surveys and general awareness raising work.
